Good grief FQ...you're not safe to be let out on your own! I'm glad to hear you are getting extra security Em, your situation sounds horrible...I hope the extra locks keep him out!

Dear me, look after yourself, Em.

And FQ, that's a very feeble way to try and upstage Michael Underwood in Dancing on Ice - you'll have to try harder than that! Take care. :)

I don't watch Dancing on Ice...did he fall over then? I think I probably do win seeing as this is the same leg I broke about a year ago! :P

Hope you're feeling better soon Gabs, luckily I haven't actually hurt myself in all my many falls, I just get terribly bruised. Any case nothing new to report except our local police are keeping an eye out for me.

Spent the weekend stripping 70 years worth of varnish and paint off the stairs, picture rails , skirting boards and doors etc in my hall. I have now added a hot air gun to my large tool collection. One friend announced no girl should have as many tools as I have , but then again he is an idiot.

Typically the 6ft 5" friend turned up after I finished stripping the ceiling and annoyingly another x who is a plumber ( I'm still waiting for him to put up the guttering I bought a year ago) turned up and made some comment about me finally getting on with the house cos I hadn't done anything for a while. I pointed out I'm waiting for various tradesmen, him included , to finish their jobs and I'm having to work round them.

Then he wonders why he's an X :x

Gawd - men ay? always complaining about us women - i think they just don't like the fact that women can do handy jobs around the house as well as they can in fact, I'd say probably better?!!!! and tell that x of yours to get his bloody skates on - if he spent less time having a dig at you and more time doing what he should then.... well I know you know that anyway but just telling you to give him akick up the a**e!

Good luck with the decorating!

I got some good news today - I have now offically been offered a place for the course I applied for - a Foundation Degree in Marine Ecology and Conservation - I am sooooooooo pleased!!!!! It starts in September - Yipeee do-dah !!!! *dances round the room like a loonie* :D

congrats MW .

I spent last night with Mr. Incredible!!

well Jake in a Mr. Incredible costume, finally watched the film and now understands what Jakes on about when I have to be Mirage. Ended up watching him recreate the action rather than actually watching the film as he ran around being Dash ( who he looks like) and Mr. Incredible ( who my neighbour looks just like!!)

He wanted to wear it to bed it took 3 Mr. Men stories as bribery to get him into his PJ's

Congratulations MW. I hope you have a fantastic time and more importantly learn loads.

I was just wandering why it is that everytime I go to the hospital they find an exscuse to stick some sort of needle in me? I had yet another blood test yesterday, because they were ment to test my thyroid when I had my last test, along with a few other things.....and guess what they didn't so i've had to donate another vile of the red stuff, and all they need to test is my thyroid!

You know what I think you may be right there. I'm fine just gotta sit back and wait for the results. I've had that many blood tests over the past 6 months i have just become used to them. In fact I didn't even feel this one, and it hasn't bruised, so that's gotta be a good thing

I've filed my taxes. well posted them anyway. Been waiting for a new ID and passcode as I changed my e-mail address so the system wouldn't recognise me. It finally turned up so tried to do it last night and guess what it wouldn't accept the new info they'd just sent. So printed off a return and had to calculate my own taxes

Not easy cos of theatre job where higher tax has been paid. I got it so they owe me a rebate. :D

Muse , the girl kitten, has been acting strange for a few days deep whinning and miowing, rubbing her stomach on the carpet and roll over all the time and sticking her bum in the air, trying to get out. Been getting a bit worried then someone suggested she's on heat

She's not booked in to be seen to until 12 feb and she's at home ALONE with Comance who's not being nuetered until then either :jd:

I think you need to organise a lockdown G&C unless you want some more kittens!

Believe me they'll be in seperate rooms when I get home , as long as I'm not to late. He doesn't seem to be interested thank god and is so lazy he probably couldn't get the energy together.

I'm just hoping thats what it is and she's not going mad or getting sick. I've only had male cats before except Smudge and she was 3 when I got her

My mate had a female cat Ems and she behaved like that everytime she was in heat. It sounds to me like that's all it is

My mum had them at hers as she had painted my skirting boards for me. Think she spent the rest of the day saving Coey from Muse's advances. Thankfully he doesn't seem to know whats going on or he's just to lazy. He keeps coming to me to be saved.

Going to talk to the vet tomorrow but aparently it's more dangerous to get her sorted while she's in heat, so guess I'll have to keep my fingures crossed, or muse's legs, til this one is over.

Wish me luck I appear to be spending the evening with 2 randy teenagers

Rather you than me mate.

I'm totally hacked off today. I have been so careful all week regarding my diet. I have resisted the calls of the buscuit barrell, the crisps, the cakes, the chocolate...basically anything yummy. I have exercised every day. I mean I haven't been to the gym, but I have been out for a brisk half hour walk.........and I have managed to loose bugger all weight :? See this is why dieting depresses me. You have a totally fantastic week food wise, you have suddenly developed will power of iron, but your body decides that what you really should have done this week was stuff your face senseless and you would have lost half a stone......ggrrrrr :(

Don't give up Baggie, I bet next week you'll have lost twice as much as you usually do!
