Just want to say thanks again to Gabriella for organising such a fab night - it was such a laugh! - particularly when Spence made us play our ring tones at the same time I told my brother about that bit and he just put his head in his hands saying, "OMG Annabel..." well he just doesn't appreciate the magnifience of GW now does he? and in future, I will just have to mention it to people that do appreciate it - like you lovely ladies but, I don't always see you so we will have to have more GW related events then?!!!!!
GW is brilliant on the BIG screen (especially close-ups of the Lion's Mane and his oh-so-cute freckles.. ) so I am actually, suprisingly jealous of you ladies going to Switzerland!
Loved the props too - post-it-notes ahoy!
U R A STAR FQ!!!!!!!
...and thanks for the piccies Kim!

Thanks Gabs I had a great time. It was a wonderfully fun and surreal night. I can still see the chef's face when he walked past the room we were in only to see us all sitting around with post it notes on our head....to say he was puzzeled would be somewhat of an understatement !
Unfortunatley JRT patch I had managed to develop a very bad migrane by the end of the night so headed straight to bed when we got back to the hotel. I think you will need to speak to Ems for any further info on the hotel shenanigans, if indeed there were any !

Yep, thanks FQ for a great night. If everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did , then they'd have gone home very happy bunnies! Well done to you for organising everything so well. Have these [as they didn't turn up on the night!!]
I'm afraid Rita & I too went off to bed as soon as we got back to the hotel. Rita had had a very early start & I was just knackered from a very hectic week at work & at home.
The pics are fab Chats- love the ones with us all 'wearing' the 'post it notes- very surreal!
Looking forward to "The Swiss Family Green-Wing" in June even more now!!

It was lovely to see you all again and worth the long trip just for the look on the waiters face when we were all sat there with post it notes on our heads.
Had a great time and a big thankyou to FQ for all her hard work in organising it. It was great to watch it with people who appriciate it. Can't wait for Switzerland now only something like 160 days to go.
Just so you all know we had 1 very civilised drink in the bar when we got back with me desperatly trying to ignore Everton losing to Oldham in the FA cup being shown on match of the day. Mind you Baggie and I did end up watching MOTD in the morning while discussing football.
Typically my trains home were even worse than on the way to London. After having carried my bag and wandered until 12 when Hamley's finally opened ( well it's mini mac's birthday at the end of Jan) I got to paddington to discover my train delayed so I would miss my connection and get stuck at Newport for almost 2 hours. I decided to wait for the next straight through train to Hereford which was at 2.45 but would get me home 5 mins earlier than the other one.
So did I wander aimlessly carrying a heavy bag for 2 hours or did I take myself to the station bar and watch the football for a couple of hours??
I think you all know me well enough to guess which one I did

Those of you who were at the Green Wing screening will be pleased to hear that the Flowers for Gabriella turned up at the pub yesterday, I have had a refund & Gaby has the flowers!
My husband's comment was 'If you can't even organise a bunch of flowers, how do you think you can organise a weekend in Switzerland?'
