Caps for Episode 3 now done and are HERE. :)
I went even more crazy than with the last lot...but then again this is the episode with all the perving and manhandling, so what's a girl to do?

I think that black fingernail is probably from when he injured his hand recently?

Fantastic screen caps FQ - Thank you!!

The injury was to the left hand if I remember correctly (have to go and check later), so maybe he'd taken to nail polish to get into character?

Phew. I missed a lot of Oliver Twist because I've been working so damn much lately... (restaurants get scarily busy at Christmas time!!) but I've finally got round to watching it all.
I owe my life to Virgin Media Catch Up TV! =]

I enjoyed it so much!

His manhandling of Rose... I was quite very jealous!!

Julian threatening Mr Bumble and Widow Corney made me squee!! I said to my mum "How gorgeous is he?" And she said "Not very in this scene!"
I would have argued with her... but Julian was on screen and I couldn't very well talk over him could I?

I loved it when Julian got home from Mudfog and he was acting like he'd never been because he was smiling a lot.
And then when he had to struggle against the police.

And when Mr Brownlow disowned him and he was really upset/begging!

Any scene that had Julian in it really!!!

Did anybody secretly want him to succeed in killing Oliver? I think he is just too mesmerising...

Plus I've finally got the family well trained... they found an article in the Manchester evening News with a picture and ripped it out for me. I don't think there's any point in me scanning it because it's just the interview that pingu found and the picture that's on the BBC.
Little did they know that I found the same article in a newspaper on the way to work and ripped it out myself. I folded the picture really carefully so that I wouldnt crease his face!! Haha.

Can't wait for the DVD release... I might go and pre-order it now....
Mac: How are the people of Insania without their Mighty Queen?
Sue White: Oh well you know, they're alright. I left them post-it notes with instructions.

Oh Gabs - you captured the slouching against the door!... :swoon: thankyou!!!! :D. I must admit I did watch OT again last night just so I could rewind all Julian's scenes especially that one!
Thanks for all the others too!

I thought the whole series was really good, and so did my hubby, even though it took him until episode 3 to realise that Julian was in it (and that was the real reason why we were watching it!!) He did say something quite interesting about Julian though: "He'd make a really good Doctor Who, wouldn't he?" which obviously I agreed with!! He also thought Robson Green would be a good Doctor! We then spent the rest of the episode with him and his mates poking fun at me! He's even suggested getting a ginger wig like Guy did on Green Wing when he went on a date with Sue White.

However, my father-in-law was totally disappointing on Saturday night, when he said that Julian was "weird-looking".

Now looking forward to Shadow in the North on Sunday... :)

Watched the last episode with mini mac while waiting for his parents to pick him up and Dave my friend that came down to stay/look after me. Mini loved it but did keep saying ' Julian's not really that nasty is he he's just pretending'

Dave now understands who it is I keep going to london to see. Thankfully everyone I made watch it enjoyed it and thought Julian's performance was wonderful. I've been walking round like basically going " of course he was he always is" They've now all lined up their videos for sunday night and I'm no longer a bimbo because they realise they have talent.

Dave wasn't freaked out about my Julian obsession seeing as he suddenly announced he's going to marry me! !!!!!

Don't worry I'm not doing that again

Just for a laugh, I set up a group on Facebook - "2007 Oliver Twist Appreciation Society" so join up by clicking on this link:

Just be interesting how many people join (for no reason whatsoever really) and what other people think of Sarah Phelp's adaption?!

My shiny new DVD of Oliver Twist dropped through the door this morning, and naturally I shoved it straight in the laptop to have a look at the making-of feature. Julian is in it for a little bit, being adorably expressive and wide-eyed, and talking about the scar make-up (it's a transfer apparently) and stroking it distractingly...in close-up :swoon:

It seemed remiss not to cap the feature whilst drooling over it so please help yourselves to the pretty that is now in my Photobucket

And now...a few teasers

haha! He's not in the featurette that much, but when he is, he's adorable :lvdr:

If I had any kind of technical skill I'd be able to rip his little part of it and pop it on YouTube, but I'm not sure that I'm up to it. I might give it a go later if I get time :D

ETA - right, it wasn't as tricky as I thought in the end. I've managed to snip Julian's parts (ahem...) out of the whole feature and upload them on Megaupload as 2 short Mpeg4 files. Joining them was beyond me I'm afraid, as was YouTube, given that I've forgotten my password! On the plus side, being mp4s they are compatible with iPods, so we can carry him around in our pockets :D .

Perhaps some kind soul (hint hint Rita or Kim? *flutters big bambi eyes*) could upload them to esnips for those who can't download the files from Megaupload.

ETA - As the links have been up for a while and Kim has put them on esnips too I've removed them from here now so the site isn't so obviously peddling downloads!

The bottom picture is the cutest thing I've ever seen!

This and Hippies features on the list of things to buy as soon as my next payday comes around.
In fact, I've just realised that everything on the list features Julian!
