For those of us without BBC iplayer a helpful soul has uploaded the episodes so far on Youtube. See http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=91dILFk8TKI for the section with the courtroom scene. THAT smile is at around 5.14. Not that I watched obsessively until it happened then kept rewinding so I could log the time. Absolutely not. No. :inno:

Oh God yes he was looking absolutely stunning in last night's episode...I'm just about to begin screencapping it! But while you wait the ones from Episode 1 are HERE. Here are a few samples:

Anyone else think the writing in that pocketbook is actually his? I think it looks like it is...

OMFG! It just gets better and better. The menace, the manhandling, the propositioning - if she doesn't want him the tough love works for me! That scene's made me go all wibbly :swoon:

Oh my fucksie!!!!!!!! Why can't it be my job to get manhandled by Julian? :(
Loved the bit where he got all angry and smashed things too! *flails*

This is turning out to be brilliant - loving it!

Julian eating again I notice, slotted in whilst being the perfect bad guy ......

As well as the obvious reasons for watching, the whole cast is great isn't it? I'm really impressed with Nancy and Bill, and loving Sarah Lancashire trapping Mr Bumble :D

Can't wait for the next one.

Great screencaps btw FQ!

Yes, great screencaps, keep going with those FQ! Definitely enjoying this-I spend half the time waiting for him to appear again without concentrating on the story. I'll have to watch it all again I suppose. What a trial.

Well the second episode is taking me a lot longer because he's in it so much more! I'm going to have to continue with it tomorrow I think.

Thanks to the miracle of YouTube I've been able to see all 3 eps so far. :D He is so deliciously evil, and the shoulder stroking... :swoon:

Wow what a performance in last night episode - ay? I particularly loved it when he went to check that Rose was ok when he opened the door, closed it and sort of slouched against it with that very intense stare - it made me go all the weak at the knees.... :swoon:
and loved the line,
"You see, Rose - someone in your position must learn to endure anything"

.. and then when he "drinks in" her smell...ooh he's such an evil, pervy man - am loving it! :D

Well thats what gave him away (to me anyway) ...his hand-writing,' cos, I was thinking..."Hmmm that writng looks familar?!"and then his hands definitely confirmed it!

Thanks to FQ for the screencaps and to Ch1 and Kath for the links to the reviews :D

Oh, and Kim - am loving your avatar!!!

I'm going to be out tonight when it's on...I'm rather annoyed! Lol. I think I may start downloading them the regular way as screencapping with VLC is much less time consuming.
Oh yes, and that bit where he leaned on the door worked for me too Annabel!

I've just checked our visitor log for the last week - a big rise in Google searches for Julian with Oliver Twist or Monks :)

There is a whole new generation of fans forming at this very moment

Love all the bits everyone's already mentioned, AND the mention of 'passion' last night - the way he says that word!

The bit with Rose last night  I now love another baddie besides Guy of Gisborne in Robin Hood and I want them both to win and get the girl - evil wins the day :D

btw the DVD is out in March 2008 :D

i am loving this! julian is bloody brilliant in this!
i also spotted him as soon as i saw his hands appear on screen
he plays the part so well *swoons*
and i squeed rather alot with that scene with Rose, even though he was rather evil. the slouching GAAH and just bascially everything in that scene made me swoon!!
i certainly wouldn't have minded being the girl playing Rose then! :P

i have to wait till 9 to watch the next ep after it's finished taping seeing as the main tv is being used and the other tv signals for some reason are complete pants tonight and it's all fuzzy so i cant watch it on those :(
