Thanks for the review Sven (and welcome by the way!). As one of the handful of people who managed to see this in a cinema, I pretty much agree with this . I have got my DVD now, but haven't had time to watch it (disgraceful I know  ) and this means I haven't got any input into the great pants debate as yet..... I thought it was a perfectly acceptable comedy - unlikely to make it into any top 10s, but entertaining all the same.

So has the poor old pigeon made it too everyone so he can have the weekend off.

Baggie you need to practise with the pause button on that scene. I've become a bit of an expert thanks to this and the naked bike scene in GW :swoon:

watched this last night.
i liked the reconstruction scene with him in near the beginning :P hehe
but his character made me angry at the end of the film because i knew what was going to happen and when Ally returned home i was like  oh nooo!! :(

his hair was very lovely in this!

Blockbusters are not stocking this film for loan.
Can anyone suggest where else I can borrow it from? Many thanks

Was anyone brave enough to get a copy of Rabbit fever signed by Julian, apart from Kim that is, and if so did he make any comment about it?

Well I can now say that I have seen "Rabbit Fever" and thought it was rather amusing especially when Ally and Rupert go around to A's parents for sunday lunch and her sister is there talking of fond memories.. (  nudge, nudge - say no more!)...I shall leave it there though in case there are others who have not seen it yet!
And may I just say I luurrvve the "lion's mane" in it too!

FQ: did you ever get your "freebie "Flopsy" to work then?!

well, I've taken the plunge and ordered it from play.com for £5.99 including p&p! Will have to watch it under the duvet using the children's mini dvd player. Well, I will watch it when it eventually arrives. I've already harangued the postman about it twice. I can see it now, it'll be like the 1999 passport fiasco all over again.........

well, it was a heady combination of having a baby the day before the rule about children having to have their own passports came into effect, the passport office deciding to switch computer systems, and me leaving it until only 2 months before we were due to travel to apply for feral child's passport. It's not easy taking a passport type photo of a baby - I had to prop her up against a white door at the chemists and get her to look at the camera. The irony was that the passport finally arrived on postie's day off. He was mightily relieved when I accosted him the day after and told him it was OK. I think the daily trauma of hysterical woman in dressing gown was really getting to him.
Now I'm waiting by the front door for postie to bring rabbit fever dvd. Will it ever arrive? will it be worth 5.99? Do you see how I made this post relevant to this thread? Good, eh?

it's finally arrived! Left on our doorstep by postie, he didn't even knock. Someone could have stolen it!

Anyway, I'll be watching it tonight on the children's portable DVD player. Hope it's worth the £5.99 I stole from the child benefit account.

I actually got another DVD of this for a Christmas present (thats 2 extra copies now) so if anyone wants to buy one for a very reasonable price then I'd be happy to make a deal with them?
Failing that, I suppose I could always sell them on e-bay although, I haven't worked out how to do that yet but, I have been told its fairly easy so might do - I'll see if there are any takers on here first?!
