If you haven't already I strongly suggest you buy Keen Eddie on DVD. It's an excellent series and all the characters are very well played and the dialogue is pacy and it's just quite quirky. Of course you also get to see Julian almost naked, in his pants and in a rather fetching red silk dressing gown...what more could you ask for.

Cheapest place i found it was via Amazon and it took about 10 days to arrive. Go get soem Monty!

I've seen most of the episodes on TV, and I bought the DVD a while ago. It arrived today (but I have to go pick it up from the post office later). I'm quite excited to see the episodes I missed before!

I don't think it's available on region 2. You need to have a multi-region dvd player.

There's things on this site that tell you how to hack into your player to make it multi-region: http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/mult ... ckable.asp

I haven't tried it myself as my parents would kill me if I mucked it up! If you have a computer with a dvd drive I think it's easier to play region 1 dvds on them.

Most dvd drives will play it on your pc.

I'm waiting to buy a new Multi-Region dvd just for the reason of Keen Eddie. You can get cheap ones. There is one for £20 on Amazon.

You can also hack your dvd player, so it will play all regions

I have to play my Keen Eddie on my computer as neither of my house dvd's is region free (but I have saved the link above and plan to de-code one of them when I have time).
I had to change the setting on my computer to play region 1 and it works fine now. But a word of warning to anyone who might need to do the same. There is a limit to the number of times you can change your region setting on a computer. Mine has a limit of 3 but my daugyters has a limit of 4.

Julian eats in quite a few scenes in Keen Eddie, doesn't he? I think he must have added that to the original scripts because he knows how sexy he looks, and what kinds of images it conjures up in the minds of certain of his fans

That's true apart from the lonely sandwich eating in one of the last eps.
(I don't think I've spoilt anything for those who haven't seen it.)

Yes, he looks so lonely in that pub, don't you want to slip into the seat next to him and comfort him? I love it when he stuffs himself with whatever that is in Achtung Baby, I have to stop the recording for a moment....I bloody love opera

This is the correct order for the series, which they changed for the american airing because of complaints about it's 'lewdness and controversy.' I posted it at that other forum but they deleted it, as they do most of my posts. I think I'll need to stay away from anything with a C or a 4 in the title. Unless Julian does another online interview, of course.

Yes I found out they had been shown out of sequence on another site with an interview about KE but it didn't say why.
Actually when you are aware of it - the inconsistancy of his hair style/length is a dead givaway :D
To be honest the eating in every ep. hadn't registered - but it has now @lol@ When I next have time to sit and watch (anything not just JRT) I will have to study the scenes more carefully.

I've just bought this and started watching it and boy does JRT look sexy!

Same here Sammy, have just got the DVD and am loving it. All that running around and wrestling villains to the ground leaves me breathless!

I spoilt myself and watched two episodes today in honour of Julian's birthday (any excuse).

When I got the DVD's I was SO torn between wanting to watch them all in one go... and wanting to make them last.... such a shame there was only the one series !

Julian looks so hot in Savile Row suits, doesn't he? Rawr!!!!! I put the DVD on my Amazon Xmas wishlist. I then sat my husband in front of the computer, showed him the list and pointed out that it was listed as my highest priority item (just to explain how the list works , you understand!); so fingers crossed, eh? :inno:

Nice tactics! Hope it works. And yes, he does... Look hot. In suits. And without, obviously.
What is your husbands opinion about Julian?

My husband was the one who got me into Green Wing, actually - I wasn't fussed until I spotted Julian and then BAM! the rest is history. He referred to him the other day as "the one I'm allowed to............." I didn't dare ask him who his was!
