JUlian is mentioned as playing Edwin Muirden in the forthcoming BBC TV programme Merlin. It doesn't say at this point if his character is a regular or a guest star, but either way it's something to look forward to this autumn!

Sainsbury, Julian was definitely filming in France the week of June 16th...how frustrating if he was there & you missed him!

The castle at Pierrefonds looks beautiful, you can see why they would film there!

Ooooh - this looks good. Especially with the special effects being done by the Doctor Who team at The Mill :D

The BBC press release (http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2008/07_july/23/merlin.shtml) seems to suggest he will only be in episode five, so we'll all have to set the recorders for that!

Ooh I've been to Pierrefonds...it was snowing at the time and it looked really magical! :)

I was googling for some info on this the other day and it seems it's been a long time in development so hopefully that means it will be good!

They can't disguise his lovely cheekbones though!

Have managed to "persuade" my youngest that she really wants to watch this, so the TV's booked.

Believe me if he went out in Hereford tonight like that he'd still be the best looking man here.

Advantage of living on my own the telly is mine and the cats will just have to put up with it or go out!!!!

Well if his last portrayal of a facially scarred villain is anything to go by then I'm not going to complain!
