It must have been so truly terrible for those poor men in the trenches. Very glad to see Julian has a nice hat to keep his ears warm though! :wink: Will keep my eyes open for this release next year.

Set your recorders and sky+ boxes. The Wipers Times is on BBC2 next Wednesday 11 September at 9.00 pm. Shame it's only a one off, but runs for an hour and a half so we can't complain :D

Kitty, I don't think the BBC can be streamed outside the UK :( You'll have to wait till it gets shown more widely :(

I thought The Wipers Times was just brilliant, & Julian was exceptionally good...wonderful rapport with his co star Ben Chaplin.
