Well, I thought Julian was just brilliant as Michael Garfield in last night's 'Poirot'...but there again I am somewhat biased! :wink: He was a very louche character but also very sinister.

I found that I wasn't the only one who loved him in the part...the Agatha Christie website folk thought so too.....

"I will tackle the issue of casting first. Julian Rhind-Tutt plays Michael Garfield. He was already in Marple as Dr. Calgary in Ordeal by Innocence, but thanks to the magic of makeup, he is rendered almost unrecognizable in this role. He is perfect as the artistic gardener with an obsession for beauty.

No harm in being obsessed with beauty........think most of us on here are aren't we?!! :wink: :roll:

don't know about beauty, but there's certainly a great deal of obsession on this site.....

I haven't seen the programme yet - worth it, is it? (daft question No. 357....)

I've now caught up with this and enjoyed it much more than I expected. Definitely 'something of the night' about Julian - or perhaps just his character.

I rather Julian with his Green Wing/Meant to be look, but i liked the episode! it was cool! 8)
