Poirot

Postby Rosie » Sun Oct 25, 2009 11:13 am

Mention of Julian in an upcoming Poirot, titled The Hallowe'en Party :D :

"Poirot discovers that there have been a number of suspicious deaths in the village in recent years which Joyce could have witnessed: a drowned school teacher, a stabbed solicitor's clerk and the passing of a rich old lady. Mrs Goodbody is convinced that old curses still haunt the village, as is the affable gardener, Michael Garfield (Julian Rhind-Tutt)."

Oooh, well spotted Rosie. An affable gardener eh? At least it doesn't say an affable gardener with a terrible scar.....!

" Affable gardener" eh, must get him to come round to look at my black spot [on the roses of course?!]

Wonder if he's related to this person?! http://images.paraorkut.com/img/pics/glitters/g/garfield-9063.gif

I saw that there is now also something added on imdb. Apparently it will be shown somewhere in December :D I think we don't have to wait so long anymore

Great news it's to be shown sooner rather than later.... our usual festive treat from Julian then!

I've just bought my big Christmas Radio Times and no sign of him as far as I can see. :(

No, I think the first of the new episodes will be around Christmas, but I expect we will have to wait a while for Julian's episode to appear :(

Well, well, still looking like a very affable gardener. The whole clip was interested to watch, perhaps this would be one of the best Poirots.

Loving the cravat & tweed jacket look.
Wouldn't mind an hour or two in the potting shed with him! :swoon:

Good news, everyone!
I just found out the episode has already been aired in Australia a few weeks back. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1535120/ I can get hold of a torrent, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to distribute it. :( But, you can get it as well and it's not that hard to get hold off. I always download stuff from thebox.bz, maybe you know it, maybe not. It's a website which works with up/download ratios and you have to be a member, but it's not that hard. There are also a lot of other Julian programs you can download there like GW, hippies, Oliver twist... (Well, basicly nearly the whole imdb-list, except movies). I'm going to download Poirot tonight, when I come home from work. I'm sooooooooooo curious!!! :D

I can't find it in the schedules so far for 18th October, but that is the day that the press pack is released, so I suspect the following weekend is the most likely time! Fingers crossed anyway!
