Julian's Birthday Project

Ok, so we all know that Julian is turning 40 this year, and now that we have a handsome number of fans on this forum and on the Facebook page I thought it would be nice to instigate something I've seen done on other fan forums (with Kim's blessing of course!). Basically, we want to gather messages/fanart/photos etc together in a book and send it to him!
Here are all the details:

What do I send in?
We would like to collect general birthday wishes/fanart/poetry, or maybe even photos or anecdotes of when you have met him.
Please keep it clean - we reserve the right to reject any items we think are unsuitable.
Keep it fairly brief - we don't want to turn this project into a novel! A paragraph or two is enough, or just a "Happy Birthday Julian" if you can't think of anything else.

If you do want to do something arty then please don't make it too large, as the maximum format we want the book to be in is A4. A5 would really be the best though.

How do I send it in?
If you would just like to send Julian a message then simply leave one in this thread. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME - or at least a screen-name.
Please leave only one message and don't reply to other people's messages, as it just keeps things more straightforward.
A general thread for discussion of the project has been set up here:
http://www.julianrhind-tutt.co.uk/forum ... .php?t=543

Items may be edited for content and/or formatting - please keep it appropriate!

If you are sending a poem, drawing, or anything other than a text only message then please email it to jrtbdayproject[at]hotmail.com (replace [at] with @ ).

How long do I have to come up with something?
All submissions must be in by Friday 6th June, after which time I shall be attempting to collate it all and work out the best way of presenting everything!

Is there any other way I can contribute?
If you would like to make a donation in honour of Julian's birthday then visit the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Unit at UCLH Just Giving page here:

If you have any questions or require any help just send me a PM or an email!

My birthday message is

Have a great birthday and have a day off. Sit down with a large glass of red and some marshmellows and have a well deserved rest.

Thanks for always giving us so much of your time and for being so charming whenever we've come to see you, but also for bringing together such a great group of women who'd would never have met if it hadn't been for you.

Thanks for all your contributions everyone! This thread and the email submissions are now closed.

I have just moved home from uni, which is why this is a bit late, but now I should have plenty of time to collect everything together and make it pretty! :)
