Sorry I haven't been on here all weekend but been very busy partying. Started the day with something fizzy and the rest of the weekend just carried on. Yes I did have a small Julian iced on my cake and no-one has been allowed that piece yet!!
Had loads of lovely pressies and 3 days off no sewing at all and guess what went down with a really bad cold. Typical or what!!
Lots of champagne and vodka apparently was the cure or at least thats what I tried. Mind you it probably didn't help that I insisted on testing out my one birthday pressy a 15ft pool for my back garden complete with inflatable drinks holder. Nothing like swimming in the rain.
Mini Mac also made me a card out of all these foam shapes the figure had orange hair and was suprisingly enough called Julian

Many Happy Returns Chi....did you get any JRT related goodies then?! [or have you got them all already?!!]
" A few very charming ladies down at my Dad's whist drive have been very kind (average age 75-93). My brother is the headmaster of a special school and I know some of his dinner ladies have been very kind to me as well. "
Hello! Just got back from London - I've been there (again! ) since yesterday celebrating my birthday with hubby. I really should just move there, shouldn't I?
He took me out to dinner in a lovely restaurant and then to Her Majesty's Theatre to see Phantom of the Opera which was just jaw-droppingly spectacular. I spotted Jamie Bell of Billy Elliott fame in Covent Garden, too.
Oh, and I also got tickets to see Arcade Fire in November!
Thanks, everyone, for the birthday wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who's next, then, I wonder?

Thanks, Rita - it was very special especially as it was a surprise. I did wonder why he'd been looking pleased with himself of late!!!
