A triumph, everyone. Well done.
And pleased to see that Julian wasn't too busy washing his hair to turn up.

Wow his hair is so long! Glad to hear you all had a good day and sorry I couldn't be there - I've only been been back in lectures for a week but I already have so much work to do.
Re: London Bridgathon 2009, Sunday 4th October
well done everyone ! What was your time, by the way? Glad the weather held out for you and that it wasn't too hot.
It's was baby's 11th birthday, so I had a houseful of children, which I hope excuses my absence.

Re: London Bridgathon 2009, Sunday 4th October
Think we set off at approx 12.15 Patchy & got back about 3.50pm.
We took a steady pace, but were slowed down a bit by the 'official' London Guide guy who the Charity had provided for the day, who wanted to stop at every point of interest en route to tell us all about it. Interesting though he was, we ditched him in the end....not in the Thames though!
I probably slowed us all down too, with my dodgy knee, but I did tell them all not to hang about at my slowcoach pace, but they being the kind & lovely people they are, stayed with me. So for Rose, Kim, Lucy & Sarah.

We were certainly lucky with the weather....London's been grey and drizzly today.
