News about Ducatilady

I am sad to let you know that our friend Rita (known here as Ducatilady) has died after a long illness.

Here is a photo of her in happier times... in fact on the day that I first met her at a Green Wing signing in London in January 2006. Rita had travelled from France just to be there, I think winning the award for longest distance to stand in a queue!



She was a warm, funny and clever lady and I will miss her lots xxx

Not unexpected but extremely sad news. Rita was always so dedicated, being one of the first to archive Julian's work for the rest of us. She took so much pleasure from her meetings and friendship with him and he in turn was very gracious and attentive to her. We were all enriched by knowing her.
