Julian narrates the Seven Ages of Rock programme tonight on the Yesterday channel [ch 537 0n Sky] at 9pm tonight, & again an hour later on Yesterday+1 [ch 538]. Well worth watching [& listening  ] to! :)

Seven Ages of Rock
The Birth of Rock: Julian Rhind-Tutt chronicles the history of rock music, beginning by exploring how Jimi Hendrix became an icon. The influence of R'n'B on British acts such as the Rolling Stones, Cream and the Who also comes under the spotlight and the programme considers how Bob Dylan and the Beatles helped to revolutionise the genre and bring it to the masses
