Auction Guidelines - Please read carefully

Postby Jools » Sun Jun 17, 2007 12:20 am

Here we go folks... We will add more items each week and you may like to wait until you have seen all items before you start bidding.

To bid for an auction item please add your bid by posting in the appropriate thread, or e-mail jools@julianrhind-tutt.co.uk and we will then add them in order of receipt. Please indicate if you wish us to withhold your name from public view.

Sealed bids can also be placed by sending details to the above email address indicating the highest amount you wish to bid for a single item (the successful sealed bid will be charged £1 above the highest bid).

The auction will end on 20th July and each auction item will detail the finish time at the start of the thread. Each thread will be locked at that time so that no more bids can be received.

Bids are binding and items will be sent to the winner on receipt of payment through Paypal on the main site. Please remember that P&P is not included in your bid amount and will need to be factored into your bidding (however we will endeavour to find the cheapest way of getting your item to you).

Any queries please PM or email Jools or Chatterbox.
Good Luck

All auction items are now displayed in their own threads, and you can bid for them by posting in the thread if you are a forum member, or by e-mailing jools@julianrhind-tutt.co.uk.

The auction will close on 20th July, and Julian has chosen The Leukemia and Lymphoma Unit at UCHL as the charity to benefit. I will be letting you and Julian know how much we have managed to raise.

Good luck....

Well only a day left to bid, and almost everything has received at least one bid.

Just a note for overseas members to remember, the times shown on this forum are an hour behind the actual time in the UK at the moment. The bids will close at the UK time specified, GMT+1 (British Summer Time) whereas the forum will show just GMT time. So, basically, you have an hour less than you think you do.....!

Well the Auction is now closed.... Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.

There were some closely fought battles over the LWW programme and the Rabbit Fever DVD in particular... Congratulations to the winners, commiserations to the losers.

I will pm each of the winners to arrange payments and deliveries.

There is still time to join in the raffle and perhaps win something else... :D

You mean the LWW scriptbook really don't you? Sorry being a bit picky about that one - it was rather exciting though and a very close call!

Thanks for getting, and putting all the fab prizes on for the auction....and thanks to Jools too!! :D

My signed copy of Rabbit Fever arrived in the post this morning complete with mini rabbit  - thanks Kim! I shall treasure it always. :D

Everyone certainly put up a good fight for it - I got it by the skin of my teeth, really!

I'm so proud of us all, pulling together so enthusiastically for charity. Huge "thank yous" all round, especially to Jools and chatterbox for organising it all!!!!!
