Another Green Wing themed get-together?

Postby chatterbox » Tue Apr 15, 2008 2:00 pm

Just trying to gauge interest for a get-together in either November this year, or January 2009. When I have an idea of the amount of interest I can start looking around for a venue - a great big hall, or a corner of a pub?

I've cross posted to the green wing site, so please only fill in one poll, otherwise I will get very confused and book the Albert Hall, when we need The Victoria and Albert Pub....

I put January down, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do anything at all really what with my traipsing around Europe next year! But depending on when term starts at Pisa I might be able to do early Jan.

well it all depends on weather or not I start Uni in septhember or march, If it's september then it will be unlikely I can make either date, if it's march i can most likely do both so it all hangs in the balance for me

Hmm, I didn't include a maybe option did I? Never mind Guyoline... if you can't make this one, I'm sure there will be other opportunities :)

By the way, we are currently running at 21 people interested at the moment, so it looks like we will need more than one table in the corner of a pub anyway

Just to let you know the total numbers interested to date are 23 people, and January seems to be the best month to catch the maximum amount of people. I'll start looking around for suitable venues and let you know how I get on. :D

I know I'm pretty new around here [ok, understatement] but I'd list to add my name to the list as a possibility.
