lovely to see you all - just had to escape from the children for a while! They didn't even notice I'd gone, the little buggers....
Anyway, great to meet Mac V and husband and see everyone again - thanks for giving me the excuse!
JRT charming as ever. Great to have a chat with everyone over a cup of tea. And to see Victoria Wood too! That really was a treat.

shame I wasn't there I could have whiped out a needle and thread and fixed them quick, haven't sewn anything all day, but that would have spoiled the view. :D

Did he by any chance look like this

Glad you all had a great time and by the way june 29th isn't far enough off as it's my birthday and I really can't be that old

Glad to know he was his usual charming self

Oh dear. Haha! poor guy must have felt really embarrassed afterwards!

OMG 24 hours until I get to see it!!!! Hurray! Will anyone else be there that I'll see? I'm in seat E26. My friend Grant is coming, too. But he's really down to earth he shouldnt be too overpowered by my inevitable total squee-fest.

It really was great meeting you ladies. No Rosie none of you were scary and it made the occasion even more special sharing it with you all. Cheesy I know but true. I am floating on a great big fluffy pink cloud.
JRT patch I will speak to our book club leader about recommendations and then we can compare and contrast. Hopefully both groups can come out of it with some new ideas.
By the way Avenue Q was fab, very rude and very funny - much like JRT'S trousers and Tom Hollanders shorts. :jd:

I can see how it could cause some tricky moment  especially the pleasant little ditty about being as noisey as you want during 'the act of love'

Ahhh trousergate, as I think it should now be known. Julian was very good about it. He didn't look conscious about it at all really. Although he did bow rather gingerly at the end ...bless him

To be fair he did have to walk around in Green Wing for a bit with the arse cut out of his scrubs...so it can't have been as bad as that!

A trouser splitting incident ay? Bet that got you all laughing! I did actually notice, that when he came back from "going to the loo" bit, (in the 2nd half if I remember rightly?) he hadn't done his jeans up before walking back onto the stage...was that part of the scene I wonder? Anyway, nice blue undies JRT!
I'm going on the 29th too so I'm sure I get to meet some of you lot there as I'm going on my "Todd"

Faeriequeen - I've sent you a PM re: the 29th

See some of you on the 29th (i'll be the one in the Green wing Tshirt)

After seeing the play on Monday I've become crazed and need to fuel an addiction. I can only afford one more trip so i thought it'd be really cool to see the evening preformance of the finale on July 3rd. My mam says that I can only go if I'm meeting up with people. How many others are going? Gosh I'll PM you. :)
