Not sure if I'll be able to make it. Unfortunetly Julian, like myself, has a birthday in the middle of wedding season so will have to see how the work goes this week

Well thanks to brides etc I'm a definate no now. Plus jake goes on holiday for 2 weeks on sun morning and I've been asked if I'd like him overnight on friday.

So as much as I'd love to meet up with you all to discuss the fraise blonde one , as I'm sure you've all guessed , the mini fraise blonde one has won as he's asked if he can stop with me . Lets face it you all know how well he has this aunty under his control.

Have a great time and I hope the weather is great for you. If it's nice here Jake is helping me with my garden as the fostering people come round in a few weeks.

At the moment it looks like a select gathering, and currently still at the London Eye, unless it gets rainy (I haven't had a chance to look at the weather forecast yet!)

I will take another look on Friday and confirm as far as I can what we will be doing. As I have suggested though, if you pm me to let me know you are coming and give me a mobile number I can keep you updated if there is a sudden downpour or flash of sunshine...

I'm sorry, an implementation is proving problematical (aka big f***ing disaster) and I have to work tomorrow:-( So I've just increased the exclusivity by 1:-(

Well the 'select gathering' all managed to find each other on the rather busy green on the South Bank this afternoon.

The sun shone and we had drinks and cakes (thanks to Kim and Di) and chatted about Switzerland and Green Wing, amongst other things. We did eventually remember why we were there and raised our teas/coffees/water in a toast to Julian's recent birthday!

A relaxing way to spend a Saturday afternoon, very enjoyable. :)

I'm pleased you had good weather for your meet up. Seems as though you spent a rather civilised afternoon, celebrating JRT's birthday, and if cake was on the menu, even better!! :D s

What a smashing way to spend a hot, sunny afternoon :)

It was great to meet up with 'a very select gathering'......even better celebrating Julian's birthday with delicious cake [& marshmallows!] ...just a shame he wasn't there to share it!! ...still all the more for us eh?!

Already looking forward to the next meet up....possibly at Mr Mangan's play in the autumn?

Hope he 's ok baggie.

Glad you all had a great time. I did raise a glass myself while building my wall with Jake's help (as well as the power rangers and various Ben 10 toys) got to clear enough garden for the 18ft pool I've bought  by the time he gets back from France

Yes not too bad, but there's a possibility he may be going back in for an overnight stay soon, as they think the stent they fitted 2 yrs ago may be furring up on the inside......bloody parents who'd have them !

Can I add parents-in-law to that? Double trouble!

Hope all goes well for your Dad, Baggie.
