I see in today's paper that Easyjet have a sale on 25% off ALL seats on ALL flights if you book before tuesday midnight...worth a look!

i looked up filights on easy jet and it's about £30 single so £60 altogether including taxes and everything, which is pretty good I think, but I assume that's with the 25% off so i would get them before tuesday if you are going.

also if people have booked their flight, what time flight are people getting, I would be going from london and will try and get the cheapest one (that is if I can make it of course but I'll know by monday) so if anyone else is going from there it would be good to get on the same flight

EDIT: ok well i looked up my exams on the OCR website and I have an exam on the 20th :( but it's in the morning so i could always book an afternoon flight and I'd be fine, luckily all my other exams would be over by then even if I do any retakes so I should be able to come...

Hi Ros, which airport is nearest to you? You would have to be careful of taking an afternoon flight as you have to arrive in Geneva by approx 4.30 pm Swiss time to be sure of catching the last train up the mountain.
You could maybe travel very early saturday morning instead?

Quick question Rita, can we buy the train tickets from the airport at Geneva? I think I remeber you saying we could but i thought it would be best to check.

Hi Baggie, you can buy the train tickets at the station, which is connected to the airport, OR now you can buy the train tickets online and print them yourself , which I think would be the simplest way. I wouldn't bother buying your train tickets until the last minute, there are no special deals for buying them early, and a single is always half the price of a return.

ok well i can't get a flight before 2.30 pm uk time because of my exam :( so I could always come really early saturday and get a flight that means I get the first train, but what time is the last train on a friday, do you know because i do want to try and sort out everything and pay the right people by monday (I like to be organised, plus the sale means I want cheaper flights)

and I should be going from any london airport really, I think there are flights from gatwick if I'm right and that's the closest one to me anyway

Guyoline, did you get my latest pm about trains, flights etc? I emailed you at your hotmail address as well as I wasn't sure that the pm had gone.

Just thought I'd say what flights I'm getting:
Going out with Easyjet from London Gatwick at 12.25, arriving in Geneva at 15.00.
And along with Guyoline - coming back at 19.10, arriving at Gatwick at 19.40.

Ros and I are getting a lateish flight back so we have some time to wander round Geneva or wherever, so let me know if you'd like to join us. :)

Well I have just booked mine and G&C's flights. We're getting in to Geneva at 14.30. And due to it being the only flight available on the Monday we will be getting the 10.25am flight back on the Monday.

There are 16 members of the Swiss family Green Wing plus a couple of food & audiovisual technicians...ie my husband & son...quite enough for me to cater for & co-ordinate I think!

Will it be like Belle & Sebastien all over again then? [for those of us that are old enough to remember the tv series  ] If so, who's bringing the dog?!! Better get some Winalot in Rita!!? :)

[think this was set in the French alps though ..not Swiss  ]
