Julian at the National/Brook Green reunion

I'm a bit of a late comer to these meet ups as my daughter was due a month before the convention and I'm just finding my feet as a human being again!
Much looking forward to meeting you all and seeing the play though.

You're in for a lovely treat on the 5th - everyone's really friendly and fun, as I'm sure you can tell! The fact that Julian will be there too is just by the by, really!

Can I baggsy a place near the front of the stage door crowd on the 5th please because this will the first time I've seen the play? I haven't even met him at any of the signings.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Brook Green crowd again, if you can remember what I look like! And looking forward to meeting those who were not at the convention.

I'm sure you can get a place at the front of the queue. As I said we made him aware that there would be a few of us there, so he's prepared for us. Mind you I shall loaf at the back as i've already got my picture

What was his reaction, Baggiebird, when you told him there'd be about 20 of us there on the 5th?

He was surprised and then joked that he would make sure and run to the car park after the performance. Cheeky boy. I think he is gonna come out and say hello (again)

He's so sweet!!!! He still can't quite believe that lots of people (females, mostly!) adore the pants off him!

I know what you mean. He was really nice and very charming, I think it helped that we we're all fairly normal well adjusted ladies. I think he's just really graefull for the support

MOD ALERT - Guys a desperate plea...please.

As I am sure you are all aware I've taken a long old time to build the website and the forum up and pride myself on the job I do and the continued efforts of yourselves to ensure that this place remains nice and professional.
I know you are all very excited at the prospect of meeting Julian but could I please ask you to keep you squeeage to a minimal decibel level and to respect Julain's right to go about his business in his usual manner. I would also ask that you not get your hopes up too much about Julian appareaing at the stage door as he undoubtedly has other commitments too.

I for one would feel very intimidated at the thought of 20 people watching my every move on stage and then waiting for me to make my escape from the stage door. I know everyone thinks he was joking when he said he was going to leg it, but in many a jest is an element of truth.

Sorry to be such a killjoy over this, but I would like this site and Julian's fanbase to be continued to be viewed as a mature and fun place/people to be around.

This is in no way a pointed comment at anyone who's attended any previous signings/stage door or anything, more a plea for a little bit of decorum and employing of 'sensible heads' if 20 raving loonatics get to meet him on the 5th!

Hope you all understand my reasons behind this.

Yes that's why, desite my waivering, I won't be pestering him again on the 5th as I think there'd be nothing to gain from me hanging around again. I should probably leave him alone for a bit!
(Though of course I was perfectly respectable when I did meet him.)

I was just wondering; will anyone be about Londinium from 2pm? I come into Kings Cross at five past 2 and I know some people are staying at the Brook Green along with me - just I've never been to London myself before, and was wondering if anyone could meet me at Victoria at say, 3.15pm?

I wont be doing any 'stage dooring' either- not that i've met him before but it's just not my bag.
