hi everybody,
im complete noob, just registered in the forum so please excuse my possibly out of this world question.
May be somebody seen any photo of Julian playing cello (well it could from the River KIng) but better when he has his own look and wear his trainers
I was thinking to make a (web) poster (will publish here if something decent comes out of it).

i've added this J. poster to my gallery:
http://www.freewebs.com/somewhere100/poster1.html

It was so fascinating for me to find out that J ever play(ed) cello and played cellist part in The River King so this poster is about rather on this theme.
Besides i now can add J. to my ultimate collection of guys playing cello:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G3Ny7AC ... ed&search=

(so you are either melt completly or got blown away).

Ok im feeling better now
Needed some closure on it.

You're really good at those posters, lucie! Nice one

-> That cello-drums quartet are actually really really good too =D

The video was made all the more entertaining by the fact that i seen a stand-up comic last night who said "Air music is meant solely for rock instruments like guitars and drums. You just can't air-cello!" and then he air-celloed. It was funny. I bet you could air cello that! lololol

aired cello

 aired cello,
it was only this time ( on the video) and because it was some kind of sport event.
They usually work hard and perform live quite decently. You should have a guts to play cello for the metal public and for 2 hours
Last years they took a drummer i think just to have some time to take a little breath during their gigs.

Ooh who was the comedian? Sounds a bit like Tim Minchin, but that's unlikely as he's in Oz with all the other buggers at the mo!

Have actually just watched it myself as I recorded it last night, so he got to the air instrument bit and it was like - ooh I wonder if a cello is about to make an appearance - spooky! Everyone needs to look up Tim Minchin on utube though as he's fabtabulous and seriously nice to boot (as in a lovely man, not sexy, although if you the goth look...)

 He has some hairdo - Tim Minchin.
It is quite coincidently but im counting hours now till another down under stars will release their new album.
Much heavier stuff that is: Virgin Black:
http://www.myspace.com/virginblackofficial
- they were busy almost 3 years with their new thingy, and now at last - the first part - Requiem will be out.
There will be not only cellos but the whole symphonic orchestra.
 I promise i have only 2 music fav. those cello guys ( Apocalyptica btw) and VB so will not go on and on out of subject of forum much.
Wondering still if J. have a time or mood to play some things on music instruments.

He is good as always
but when Apocaliptica started i switched off to local channel because he kept talking and i wanted just listen the music at this moment.
They did Faraway and Life burnes and couple of other pieces. Pity that because of the circus they were not on screen all the time.
But anyway - brilliant
I hope there will be better quality video on youtube now.
