Strongly recommend everyone takes a look at this as I thought it was a cracking film, starring a wonderful British cast and an interesting scottish accent from our Julian. (I got hold of it via Blockbuster).
Clips and images are available on the website in media and gallery. Enjoy.

Yes, I've got a copy of this, and very good it is too.

As you say, the scottish accent is interesting! I think Julian does a very good job with this role.

He also gets to show off his excellent comic timing yet again. ... Don't you just love the bit at the end when he wakes up?

I've got this on DVD as well and watched it about a month ago. He was very god in it but I couldn't decide whether he was supposed to be Scottish or not, the accent seemed to come and go a bit.

After watching the clips on youtube I agree about the accent, but he's still as excellent as ever!

I also see on IMDb that Stephen Mangan is in this playing someone called "Frank De Souza". Do they share the screen at any point because that would just be totally fab? :)

Yep they do share screen time most noticeably when Julian is almost blown up (frank is on the left of the screen) and afterwards when Daniel Craig and Julian are watching his mad CO run up the hill. (CO = Commanding Officer for those not in the know)

I hadn't realised SM was in it before I watched it. I suddenly saw this familiar face and had to go up to the screen for a proper look to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
I must watch it in *proper* mode at some point rather than fast forwarding through chunks

I see that 'Sword of Honour' is being shown on 'Yesterday' TV at 4.00pm and 9.00pm today, also at 10.00am tomorrow. I've never seen this so am looking forward to it, especially as Stephen Mangan is in it as well!
