Stardust Trailer

Postby faeriequeen » Mon Apr 16, 2007 12:07 pm

Just found a trailer for Stardust on Yahoo and Julian is about 1 minute in for a very short while...though he doesn't say anything!

Thanks, faeriequeen - I'd seen the trailer before but didn't recognise him with the make-up on plus he was on screen for a split second. I know it's a cameo role but I hope he gets a decent scene!

I couldn't find the Stardust trailer on that site FQ. The Stardust Movie site has a trailer up now, is it the same one? looks a fab movie.

There's a menu on the bottom right and if you scroll up (or down - not sure which!) you'll find it.
It's different - the one on the Stardust site doesn't have the scene with Julian in it.

This looks so good.
*is excited*
Didn't Jonathon Ross' wife adapt the screenplay, or something like that?

It's either Quartus or Quintus...I can't remember which one!

I've actually already read the book, which I really enjoyed, but can I just say how flippin' good does that film look? Can't wait to see it. :D

 Oh wow that looks like such a mint film.
I couldn't see Julian in the trailer because i could only get it to play really tinily. Is this perchance what he dyed his hair for?
I must own this film.

I think he filmed his part in this quite a while ago but I remember reading that he had to have quite a lot of prosthetic makeup put on for it. The general consensus about the brown hair is that it was for Miss Marple. :)

We will discover the reason soon, undoubtedly. =)

Quite frankly I think I would have to go see that film even if JRT wasn't in it. It just looks fantastic. Hope it lives up to the book. :D

I'll second that, although I've never read the book it looks mint. JRT adds so much to the joy, though, hehe!

I have to say the book was a really good read. I've just lent my copy to a friend at work
