It's a film starring Leslie Phillips and Peter O'Toole. Julian played Peter O'Toole's son but was cruelly banished to the cutting room floor. We're hoping he'll be in the extras/deleted scenes on the DVD.

Aaaaaah. Cool. I'll keep my eyes peeled if they get it in the library when it comes out :)

i've just been on the play site, trying to access my account but the stupid computer at work won't let me because of security all i wanted to know was if rabbit fever was on it's way to me , so instead looked at venus and Julian is definetly listed as being in it.

So here's hoping. Think I'll pre-order it anyway as Leslie Phillips and Peter O'toole are worth it

Has anyone got the DVD yet? Is Julian definitely in any of the deleted scenes? Just wondering whether to get it.

For what it's worth, he wasn't in any of the deleted scenes that were on the Region 1 version of the DVD. :(

That's so unfair!!!!!! :(
Having his scenes cut was bad enough but not including them in the deleted scenes................. :x :x :x
Thanks anyway, for letting us know, bookgirl. I do still think it's worth watching because it looks like a great film with great performances.

Thanks bookgirl, that's a shame. It is a good film, ch1, so worth watching. And some of us who caught it at the cinema were pretty certain that we saw the back of Julian (in the bar scene where Peter O'Toole and Jodie Whittaker walk up to a table and sit down). So he is in it really!

I know in the end we didn't really get to see Julian in this but Film4 are showing it on Nov 23rd. as part of their British season.
