You know you're obsessed with JRT if/when..

Postby miMac » Mon Dec 03, 2007 11:40 pm

I'm not sure if you've done this here before (I had a quick look around and couldn't see it anywhere!), but being fairly new to the forum, I just wanted to know what crazy things people do to express their love for the one and only Julian Rhind-Tutt.

Basically, just complete the sentence with as many things as you like!

You know you're obsessed with JRT if/when...

1. You have to write his name in every bit of condensation on a surface you see.. whether it be a window, mirror, worktop.. etc.

2. You wrote his name on your Christmas list and your friends knew that you weren't joking.

3. The words "He's well better than Johnny Depp" have come out of your mouth at some point.

That's all I can think of for now.. anyone else??

4. The images section on your mobile phone would be more than enough proof for a judge to grant a restraining order.

5. You have not used the word 'ginger' since 2004 - 'fraise-blond' is where it's at people.

6. You have had the insane urge to get a Barclaycard/eat Cruncynut Cornflakes/fly British Airways even though all your bank balance has gone on audiobooks and DVDs featuring a certain person.

:D

7. You find yourself on the constant lookout for men with longish fraise-blonde hair when you're walking round the streets.

8. Julian knows who you are and doesn't need to ask your name at DVD signings.

9. You've paused the GW DVD at certain points and tried to memorise his motorbike numberplate...just in case!

10, ..You find yourself writing to him after each individual tv show/radio show he's been in congratulating him on his work...and sending him a birthday card too!

11, You are constantly doing "double-takes" at every man with fraise-blonde hair - just in case

12, You are constantly checking out each make of motorbike that passes you just in case it happens to be a Ducati (preferably a 1000DS)

I hope Julian doesn't ever read this thread as I think it might scare the pants of him!! - Good, fun idea though

13. You have pictures/photos of him (or even you AND him :P ) all over the walls of your bedroom.

14. You can recognise his voice immediately in advert voiceovers or TV narration.

15. You travel ridiculous distances and bunk school/uni/work to see him!

16. You devote a lot of your time to trawling Amazon.co.uk just in case there's something of his you've missed.

20, You find yourself laughing when other people, not intentionally, say lines that he has used in his work or ones that are related to him - my favourite (at the mo) being, "Tutt tutt" when people tell me off!

24. your nephew answers to mini mac and tells everyone he's fraise blonde and says things "like Aunty Emm Uncle Julian is on telly!"

25.You find a receipe for a Marshmellow cake and can only think of one person to make it for.

26 Your sister videos the latest Barclaycard ads for you and arranges a detour so you can drive through St. Juilien et Born in France.

27 The staff at the box office you work at have worked out at what time in Stardust you have to pop your head round the door so you can see him

28, When the "Increasing heartbeats" song (from GW S2 E1) is playing on the Radio and all you can picture is Julian in that wig and his little bum wiggle he does - awww so cute! :swoon:
29, When you convert a Julian hater to an obsessive fan (like all of us!) she no longer says, "You're obsessed!" but shrieks with delight every time she sees him! Oh yes ladies - the power of Julian is indeed the nectar of life!

I'll definitely second number 15 FQ! And number 8! Hahaha! It's the only way.

30. Your school/work has an "optional fancy dress day"at school and even though no one else in the yeargroup of 250 people dresses up you go dressed in green scrubs with a stethoscope round your neck and a pair of Converse on your feet. For no purpose whatsoever except that "It'll be fun!"

31: No matter how little of him is shown in any given scene on TV you recognise it as his.

32: When your father announces he's having another child, you immediately reply, "If it's a boy, will you call him Julian?!"

33. Your alarmed friends look at you in awe and say "You've met Julian Rhind-Tutt?" and you can proudly reply, "Yes. And he always gives me hugs.

I want one!! Haha.

I might just make one for myself. =]
Mac: How are the people of Insania without their Mighty Queen?
Sue White: Oh well you know, they're alright. I left them post-it notes with instructions.

34, When you decorate the box a certain mug-a-celebrity mug came in so it is the centre of attention and hopefully protects the mug from fading?!
