Well I found 3 fellow JRT fans at the spring garden show today, I was reading the LWW script on my stand and we just got talking about him. My mum just looked at me like what is it with this man!! maybe she'll realise after weds.

Anyway they were very jealous of the photo's etc, but were delighted to know he really is that nice and charming. They also appriciated the fact that I had my Keen Eddie DVD on my laptop for when it was quiet.

Hope you all have a great weekend I'm stuck in a cattle shed in malvern recovering from the local fair where I took mini mac on the dodgems and 2 helter skelters in the rain. All I can say is my backside has never been so wet or cold, but it was very stardust like :D

Oh Keen Eddie what a good idea that was. At least you had something pretty to look at to get you through the day

Oooh, G&C, I've just watched Gardener's World which was at the Malvern Spring Show, so maybe you passed by in the background. I have to say I think Monty Don is rather attractive.

You see Julian fans are everywhere - and all such nice people.
Perhaps we should form the 'Julian Party' for the next election and take over the country, or do you think the man himself might think that a bit much!

I'm gagging to vote for someone who believes in the NHS, culture and being kind to people and I think Julian is a better contender than any politician I know of.

well i'd vote for him anytime.

I haven't seen much of the show as i'm suck on my stand selling hats but I did meet Monty Don by the toilets, my mum had no clue who is was even though he lives round here somewhere.

Mind you I met Alan Titchmarsh by the loos in trafalgar square the other week too, so obviously if you want to meet a gardener hang out by the toilets

Monty Don lives in Ivington which I think is near Leominster. I've actually been to his house - and garden. Very, very nice.

will let you know if i find him Mac V. Maybe I spend too much time in the loo or something. Thinking about it I met a friend of mine who's a landscape gardener when he held the door to the loos open for me one night in a pub then we got chatting later

this is abit random, but i didnt know where to put it, but did anyone see 'frost and pegg's perfect night in' ? because i watched it yesterday and julians name was on the backdrop of a tv guide twice. (the background for all the interviews was a blown-up tv guide for anyone who didnt catch it) it was very satisfying spotting his name :D lolol
it just shows how sensitised my eyes are to his name, as i wasnt actually readin the background on purpose
And i'm his brother Bob.

Do you mean the house and garden or are you talking about the man again?

Actually a man like that would be very handy - it would mean I could swan around the garden with champagne in one hand, picking flowers, before a bit of light reading in the shade, instead of getting grubby and cross trying to dig things up or chop them down!
