I have a new sim card so my number is still the same


But now I have a lovely picture of mini mac on the front of my phone.

It'll be replaced by the other fraise blonde if I manage to meet him again

My one cat Muse hasn't been well all weekend just sleeping and not eating or drinking. Last night he started to growl if I touch him and just cry all the time.Took him to the vets this morning he's got to stay in over night he's on a drip as he's so dehydrated.

He's having blood tests, x- ray and ultra sound this morning I've got to ring at lunch time and I'm scared they're going to tell me he needs to be put down he's only 1 amd his brother is just wandering looking for him.

Plus I go to France on thurs, I'm not going if he's still ill.

he's even worse than i thought they've just rung me think they're warning me to be prepared. X-ray and ultra-sound were clear they've sent the blood tests off. He's very aneamic and very ill.

he's staying in and been told to keep my fingers crossed. He may have spi ( water in his stomach ) which is life-threatening or a paracite. Either way it doesn't look good . Won't be going to France if he's still in the vets and the way the bill looks like it's going will never afford to go anywhere again.

Not sure what Boo will do without his brother can't leave him on his own for 10 days

Thanks not much news but he's still with us and fighting well. Still at vets bloods not back til tomorrow but he has eaten some fish today which seems to be progress as he hasn't eaten anything in 4 days.

I just want to know whats wrong they still think he may have been poisoned. Don't want to go on holiday on thurs unless I know whats wrong.

My sister is looking after Boo and has said she'll pick Muse up if he's allowed home but it doesn't seem fair on her. On the other hand mini mac started to cry when I told him i might not be going on holiday with him

oh that sounds like good news then! if he's eating then he's sure to be on the mend.

Bad news i'm afraid had a phone call from the vet when in town this morning. Muse had a heart attack and died at 9.11 this morning. His system was to weak to fight anymore.

They think he had SPI a parasitic disease he was born with , apparently a lot of cats have it but it doesn't develope he was just an unlucky one.His brother may have it and the rest of his litter so going to contact the CPL so they can inform the other owners .

People do stare when you walk through town crying. Meant to be packing and working now but just want to cuddle Muse. still don't want to go on holiday.

Either my Dad or Mini's dad are going to collect him for me because I want him home in his garden but I can't face seeing him

Oh Em, I'm so sorry!!! Don't rule out the holiday just yet - getting away from it all for a few days might be just what you need to get through this.

Oh Emm, so sorry to hear about your cat but, at least he is not suffering anymore...was he quite old?

Keep busy and then you wont think about it too much (easier said than done I know..it was very difficult when I lost my dog so I do know how you feel!)

thanks he was only one but apparently he'd always had it and it was why he was always the sickly one. His brother is miserable and looking for him and I'm worried about leaving him. My sister is great with cats and will give him loads of cuddles but i'm worried about him on his own and him wandering off.

Oh I am so sorry Emm. I shall toast Muse with gin when I get home.
If your sister likes and gets on with cats, try and go on holiday but you must do what makes you feel best sweetheart.

thank you all. I'm off on holiday in a min so watch out south of france mini will be really upset if i don't go who else is going to teach him to snorkell.

Jo is going to sit with Boo each night and may even watch GW with him ( she's fallen for Julian at last)

Back on the 24th unless I find a french Julian! Taking 18hours of audio Julian and GW S2 and Miranda to keep the JRT obsession going , hope you all have a good couple of weeks and I'll be having lots of toasts to
