Hey everyone I'm afraid I'm going to need some lady support. Hubby came home on Monday and asked for a divorce out of the blue. We had a bad patch last year but foolishly I thought things were much better. My world has completely imploded and the thought of starting again on without the one I love is doing me in.
Any advice gladly accepted.

Apart from, there are lots of us who have been through similar things and I can promise it will get better, even great. I can guess how you are feeling now though, so just shout as you need it, anytime.....

Oh Mac V, I'm so sorry. I don't really have any magical make-everything-better advice (I wish I did). But chatterbox is right. Even though it probably sounds impossible right now, you will make it through this. Remember that all of us are here for you. xo

So sorry to hear that, Mo. Like others have said, you'll get through this, but in the meantime all I can say is, take care of yourself and seek support when you need it, including here on the forum.

Sorry I haven't been on here for a while Mac V but have just answered your PM. hope all is well and as crap as it sounds time does heal. I'm the living example of that. Even if I did spend yesterday laying my own patio , and when some neighbour told me I needed a man I pointed out the only use my x husband would be was as part of the foundations.

Then again mine did end with me in a wall and him on an assult charge so not at all amicably.

Been at the beach for a few days at the request of a certain georgous fraise blonde. :D

Ok it was mini mac but he is the 2nd cutest fraise blonde on the planet and his aunty can't say no to him.

Got home and laid the patio yesterday on my own ( apart from mum who poured me vodkas) it was 49 60x60 slabs and 2 tonnes of sand and now I can't move. But I did it without a man

Then I had my 1st vodka sat on my new patio :ta:

Was woken up at 3am by very loud banging downstairs then Boo crying at my bedroom door. Finally cracked and got up to find Muse in my workroom with Mini Macs Pumpkin wateringcan stuck on his head. He looked like something out of a Tim Burton film.

It took me 10 mins to pull him out as it's a kids watering can with a very small hole and he was running out of air. Thank god Boo had kept crying until I got up as I hate to think what i'd have found this morning. Anyway let them sleep on the bed then so I'm totally knackered :coffee:

Hope you are all fine and Mac V I'm thinking of you PM me if you need to talk.My situation was a lot diffent than yours. Never going to be amicable and there were no kids ( apart from the one I lost when he threw me into the wall) but remember It's taken me 18 months to get myself together and everyone on here has helped a lot. We'll have to think of some reason to have a get together soon

Quick hi to say I hope you are all getting the sunshine at the moment.... I am going on holiday (yay) so won't be around for a week or so. The lovely Jools will be dealing with auction, raffle and forum stuff all on her own, so I hope nothing *too* exciting happens whilst I am away!

See you when I get back :) :) :dh: :dh:

Does that mean we can't have a party and invite all our mates round, even if we promise to tidy the place up before Kim gets back?

spent sat with mini mac in town he bought and insisted on wearing a police coat, helmet that lights up and has a siren and a case of police equipment. We took him to a beer garden looking like a little Simon Pegg from Hot Fuzz where his siren scared many underage drinkers.

He invited me back to his mum's for a tea so I dutifully went. Well I'm never going to turn down a fraise blonde man am I.While we locked his mum in kitchen jail using the child gate I decided to teach him some well used police phrases. Unfortunetly he didn't quite get them right. He has a pair of hankerchiefs ( not handcuffs) and then blew his police whistle and shouted

" Stop in the name of the floor" we had several attempts to correct this but he insists it's the floor not law so we gave up. hope you all had a great weekend I built a wall

I think the phrase 'stop in the name of the floor' should definitely be included in Hot Fuzz 2!!!

Priceless G& C, what a star !
