Sorry guys but I removed/deleted certain parts of or certain posts for metioning a forum that isn't actually supposed to be public knowledge, sorry if this sounds a bit clandestine but email me if you need more info. Thanks Jools
Aw, why did you go and say that? Now I've become almost infinitely curious of this secret forbidden magic special forum that i need to know the location of. What is it for?! Bah. I'll ponder forever now.
I discovered Green Wing and thus JRT through my friends at the Dylan Moran forum. Hurray! www.dylanmoranrules.com rocks. It's also how i discovered his tour last year and thus met his tour manager and got in free. Woohoo! lolage.
I know! It's a wand. It's a magical, magical wand.

Hi, wasn't sure where to put this but I am sooooooo excited and No one is about to chat to!!! just had this e-mail from the lovely Pat......
Hi Spence, Hope you are well. Finn and I are in the process of piecing together the final Behind the scenes film for the Green wing box set, and were wondering if we could do a really quick interview with you about the GW convention. It would be really nice to have you talking about how you organized it and how much money was raised for charity and how much fun it all was! We have some great footage, but it would really help us if we had you commenting on some of the things that people got up to, like the spoon of destiny, the auction etc. What do you think?
All the best,
Pat

The convention was Spence's idea and it was organized by her and 4 other fantastic people. Anywho It was a brilliant day, with lots of GW related fun happening. There was a quiz, a spoon of destiny competition and a chocolate towers competition. We also had a game of Guyball refe'd by Steve Mangan, who decided we should have a Splicing the Materhorn session, which ment Steve ended up being insulted by 30 ladies with bins on their heads. There was a Q+A session with writers Richard Preddy, James Henry & Orianne, and Editor Billy Sneddon. There was also a Auction with guest auctioneer Rob Harley. All this was filmed by Patrick Schulenberg and Finn Hopson, with the intent of including some of the footage on the box set dvd (which will include both series and the special) Anyway it seems that Patrick wants to interview Spence and include parts of the interview with the Convention footage.
So hopefully you may be able to see some of the highlights of the convention on the new box set. Although I think that the organisers of the convention are in the process of bringing out their own DVD of the day. This will be sold with all proceeds going to Great Ormand Street Hospital
Right I think thats about it.
