guess what I did yesterday morning again fell down the bloody stairs AGAIN!!!
This time with no help from the kittens. Lovely big bruise on my arm to match the ones on my back from last week. At this rate I'll be able to tell you if there are any decent looking doctors at Hereford Hospital.
Thinking of selling up and buying a bungalow either that or it's time for a stair lift

Finally got round to picking up the photo's from the last night and yes the photo of Julian and me was destroyed by mini mac opening the back of the camera.
The others I took all have a red and yellow glow on them . So you can still see the group one I took and one of FQ, Link and Marinewarden talking to Julian you are all red and gold with Julian a normal colour right in the centre.
It looks like he's got a red/gold aura that's surrounding him. It's actually quite arty will have to try and post it.
BIG to Tutt-sweet for sending me the photo she took of me having my photo taken with Julian. It's all I have ( apart from the 2 earlier photo's) . Mini Mac says thanks too not that he was ever in trouble with his Aunty Emm.
Guess I'll just have to a signing or another play he's in to replace it.
It's a hard life isn't it

That should be an interesting shot!
To continue my rant from the Maltby collection thread, I wasn't at home to listen to it as I was out, and missed the flooding of our garage! Luckily I anticipated this by moving the lawnmover, and piling up some old dust sheets against the door.
Damage? a few cardboard boxes, and slight dampness of the edges of some rolls of some ancient Laura Ashley wallpaper that we bought 20 years ago!
My suspicion is that much of the flooding is due to councils not clearing out gutter properly. I was will be on to the people's republic of Lambeth on Monday morning. You wouldn't get this in the principality of Wandsworth.

Well I will certainly count myself lucky...it hasn't seem to have hit deepest, darkest North Dorset yet - well we've had rain but no where near as much as everyone else! and no flooding so hope it doesn't come to that!
JRT P : hope you weren't too fond of that wallpaper and sounds like you had a lucky escape!
G&C: Hope it doesn't get any worse for you and your sister?!!!!

Mini Mac is fine he's a 3 year old with wellies he found it great as he had to wade to get to my car.
It was one big puddle whatelse does a small boy need.
This is why he has to learn to swim he lives too near a river so as an ex lifeguard I'm determined tomake him aware of the dangers of hidden reeds rocks etc in the river so he doesn't join the other local idiots and jump off the bridges

I was reading through the Sunday Telegraph's magazine, "Seven", flicking through Arts, theatre, books etc when a title of a book caught my eye -"Marshmallows for Breakfast" "Mmmm that rings a bell! I thought " I wander who likes marshmallows for breakfast?!! ( nudge nudge..hehe) so I looked it up on the net to find out more...
...but before I continue, I must tell you now it has nothing to do with Julian (unfortunately - it was just the "catchy" title that caught my eye)
It sounds like any other trashy-type/"holiday read" novel....
Anyway, just thought I'd share !

..After Kendra Tamale returns to England from Australia, she rents a room from Kyle, a single father of two, and looks forward to an uncomplicated life.
Kyle's young twins, Summer and Jaxon, have other ideas and quickly adopt Kendra as their new mother - mainly because she lets them eat marshmallows for breakfast. Even though Kendra is hiding a painful secret that makes her keep everyone - particularly children - at arm's length, life improves for her as she becomes a part of their family.
Then Kendra bumps into the man who shares her awful secret and everything falls apart - especially when the kids are taken away by their mother. The only way to fix things is to confess all about her past, but that's something she swore never to do...
Marshmallows For Breakfast is a tale of hope, redemption and finding love in unexpected places.
Anyway, just thought I'd share !
