Well seeing as JRT isn't in anything at the moment John Simm with a sword is a close 2nd.

Imagine if we could get them both in something with capes and swords  :swoon:

mind you could we handle it

As well as having the panto on at the theatre we have a 50 min show aimed at 3-7 years olds. Last year we had Silly Billy where the part of Billy's dad was played by a Paterson Joseph look a like, which quite brightened my day at the theatre.

This year we have The Night Before Christmas which includes a guy who looks just like Brendan Fraser :D

Can't wait for next year to see who the look a like is. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be a JRT one

So David Tennant is undergoing surgery tomorrow for a slipped disc and won't be back doing Hamlet until after Xmas.
*sends him as much healing vibes as she can*

I hope Julian doesn't ever give us a scare like this! :(

Ed Bennett (the understudy) normally plays Laertes and by all accounts seems to have stepped into the breach brilliantly! I thought he was great when I saw the play in Stratford and also when I saw him as Navarre in Love's Labour's Lost. :)
There's a really nice interview with him in the Times today actually:
