There is a programme on Ch 4 tonight at 9pm 'The world's greatest comedy characters' which includes footage of Green Wing apparently. I don't suppose 'Mac' will be one of them, but always nice to see some Green Wing on TV.

Is this a repeat or am I thinking of something like the 50 greatest comedy characters that was votedfor by the public? That had Mark Heap and the blessed Michelle Gomez in it if I remember correctly.
I think best beloved has a better chance if they did the greatest nasty piece of work characters.
Macs comedy has never been as appreciated as it should be, a bit too subtle for some I think

It is a repeat, and yes the most likely characters would surely be Statham & Sue White!

I certainly spotted Mr Mangan when he was referring to Rik Mayall making a complete T**T of himself in "The Young Ones"...
...couldn't believe when "The Office" made it into the top 10 though - David Brent is soooooo cringe-worthy! *shivers*

I hate The Office.
Bah. There's no Green Wing left, and our television is swiftly falling into an inescapable pit of really bad drama and reality TV. A decent new sitcom, people!! Please! =P

As I
always find myself relying on other people to give me a definite answer when it comes to going to the theatre, concerts etc (and often I end up not going at all!) I have decided for once - "F*** it; I'm gonna buy a ticket anyway cos I wanna go!" so I bloody have - I'm not negative - i have just learnt that you cannot rely on other people thats all!
Anyone tempted to go to this? it could be another outing?
