I've only ever seen JRT in GW and The Rotters Club, so am not so aware as other of his different styles. I personally think his hair looked best in series one of GW, where it was slightly shorter than it is now, and a gorgeous blonde.

I agree that his hair is most definitely blonde in GW, but under some lights it can look ginger.

I have actually touched the lion's mane. Steve Mangan told me too and of course I just had to obey him!

Hehe, well I've touched it too, in a way...seeing as he lent his head on my head for a photo! It smelt amazing... :swoon:

I hate his hair in Green Wing - but then, I tend to prefer sensible haircuts when it comes to men, none of this frivilty. ;)
I like JRT when he was in wigs in The Madness Of King George.

Oh Miss Natla, how can anyone not adore 'the lion's mane'???!!!! He wouldn't be Mac without it!! All that 'fraise blondness' is just sooooo sexy. :swoon:

I think it's one of his most stunning features . I am totally gobsmacked :??:

What say the rest of you?

It's too girly. :-p It's part of that whole messy-beach-curls movement that I can't stand.

I think JRT should adopt a mohawk. ;)

Yes I also love the Green Wing hair - it's that 'just got out of bed' look that attracts me, and the colour is just the right blend of fraise-blond.

Oh, to have been a member of the Hair & Make-up team on the show and to have had the chance to play with JRT's hair every day (mind you, I'd probably have been sacked because I wouldn't have been able to drag myself away from him!).

I have to say I agree entirely with Rosie when she says…..Yes I also love the Green Wing hair - it's that 'just got out of bed' look that attracts me, and the colour is just the right blend of fraise-blond. Oh, to have been a member of the Hair & Make-up team on the show and to have had the chance to play with JRT's hair every day (mind you, I'd probably have been sacked because I wouldn't have been able to drag myself away from him!). :lvdr:

That's part of his/Mac’s appeal. I love the 'laid back, don't care what anyone else thinks of my appearance' attitude. (the mane also hides what Julian calls “the World Cup”…but I’d love to nibble them any day!) :swoon: The mane also frames those gorgeous cheek bones/eyes/lips/skin.[just going off for a cold shower now!]

I love his hair in Green Wing, but I also like it in Hippies, even though it's hair extensions :)
His hair is also very nice in Keen Eddie too.
