New Kid on the Block

Hi everybody,
I have to confess that like Kate and Bookgirl, I have been lurking for a couple of months now, but recent events and their appearance have confirmed my decision to seize the day!
Unlike my screen name, I am in fact another Gaby, 47 with no children, a soon to be EX-husband but two wonderful nine year old tabbies. Oh dear that makes me sound a bit like an old mad cat woman......... well if the cap fits
I too am a belated convert to JRT's body of work, in fact I was actually with my mum when she booked her ticket for LWW and didn't get one for myself . I've got TV choice on demand at home so having discovered the unmitigated joys of GW, I was raving to said mum one day about the gorgeous Dr. Mac, only to discover that not only were both my parents GW fans (pretty good for oldies in their late seventies!) but my mother smugly said to me, of course I know who JRT is I saw him the other day at the National.
Well needless to say I immediately did two things the first was to book a ticket for LWW the second was to google JRT hence finding Jools fantastic website. Since then I attended the platform and previously having seen the play booked another seat for the last night. But more on that in another forum.
You all read like such lovely people I'm jolly glad I registered
Have me back!! I'm not a family heirloom!!
