"The hob-nob, though, must surely be the Royal Marine of deep-tea divers"

I think that's the Peter Kay quote Roz meant Annabel - no offence to divers intended; marine, recreational or otherwise!

Oh right - perhaps i read into things too much - a fault of mine that doesn't really get me anywhere!

Talking of dipping biscuits though, have ever tried dipping a Tim-Tam (an aussie version of a penguin and actually, nicer) into a cuppa tea, taking in out and then biting into the dippd corner/end - its like a Tim-tam explosion in your mouth its yummy! Try it...

The Tim-Tam thing sounds nice (and appropriately GW related thru Tamsin :D ) but I have a problem with dipping biscuits as I don't really drink hot drinks. Any suggestions for things to dunk in cold drinks gratefully received!

And just to keep on topic (sorry Mods :) ) Hi to all the new people I haven't said hello to yet! :hello:

i don't like tea but I have done that with hot chocolate and tim tams - the caramel ones are lush! it's fun, slightly messy but it tastes so good I love it :D

Well Maisie - if you like peppermint flavour chocolates?! Get a Peppermint Crisp (again an aussie brand or is it from south Africa I can't remember?! its in a bright green foil wrapper anyway!) Anyway, bite off one corner and put that end/cnr into a glass of cold milk and suck the milk up through it and hey presto - peppermint milk - its yummy! If you can't get your hands on a p/mint Crisp then why not try a mint aero? haven't tried that one myself but you never know - it might work?!

Hello everybody!
I've recently joined so I thought I should introduce myself...
My name's Jen. I'm 16, from Manchester and I love JRT. A lot!
I joined the forum so that I can talk about him to others with the same appreciation for him.. because I think my friends were getting a bit bored of me! Haha :D

Hello, I'm a newb.

I'm 16 and live in the s/w of england. I was introduced to green wing by a friend a while ago and since have become mightily obsessed with JRT, (and wait for the DVD with great anticipation - haven't seen the special yet  .)

Just thought I'd better introduce myself as I've been hanging around here for a while. I live in the south of England, almost as south as you can go, but not quite! I'm married and have a four year-old son, and a little bit over 40. I work part-time doing something in IT. BTW mingming is one of my son's favourite children's TV characters!

Get the boxset of GW if you can for there is an extra bonus disc which is highly amusing!

Look forward to reading all your future posts

You want the Definitive Edition Boxset for the extra disc...especially if you want to see a number of forum members running round like tits attempting to play guyball!

Welcome to both of you, btw! :)
