Mark thanks Julian in the acknowledgements of this final book in his Lucifer Box trilogy. It made me rather irrationally pleased when I noticed this on the bus earlier.

...be great if they serialised it on tv [or made it into a film] with Julian as the central character, Lucifer Box, eh?!

Was just about to post this. Might be a stupid question, but what did Julian have to do with the book? Does anyone know?

Well we know he and Mark have worked together on a number of things so perhaps they've become friends and Julian just helped him out with ideas and constructive criticism?
