Hi everyone, I'm new to this, I've enjoyed reading the items on the forum for a few weeks but I haven't seen any postings about the interview with Mark Lawson on Front Row BBC radio 4, Tuesday 19th June 2007. It is still available to listen again until tomorrow and as a podcast. Julian talks about eating on stage for LWW and answering a call of nature! Worth a listen. Julian's magical velvety voice comes in about 15 minutes into the programme. Enjoy!!

You came bearing gifts - I like you already!!!!!!!
and
I'm off to listen to that interview now!
Back again! Loved the wee story - no pun intended,
believe me!
Am I the only one who found the mispronunciation of Julian's surname irritating?!!!
By the way, kitchengirl, will you be joining us at the National on the 29th (only 5 days to go, girls - woo! hoo!!) or the 3rd? We love welcoming new members face to face, too!

well that's cheered me up no end on this dreary Sunday afternoon!
Thanks for brining it to our attention kitchengirl!
re pronounciation of name - this isn't the first time that Mark Lawson has done this - perhaps someone should have a word with him.....he wouldn't want to mess with the Queens of Insania.......

What a lovely welcome from you all. Thank you.
I will be at the platform and the performance on the 29th
Unfortunatley I have an evening work do that I have to attend on the 3rd. I am so envious of you all going on the last night. I've been trying hard to get out of it, but really don't think I can get there.

I "third" that...I found it particularly annoying too and..
he had the
nerve to interrupt Julian as he was talking -
how dare he! - I don't know some people eh?....they just want it all..."it's my show and all that".....sorry i'll stop now - getting a bit carried away!
Kitchen girl - I shall be meeting the rest of the forum on the 29th for the first time too - looking forward to meeting everyone
very soon!

Many thanks Kitchengirl, listening to it now. How did we all miss this?
It says something for this forum and everyone on it that people join just to share these treasures - I know I only joined in March (having 'lurked' for ages) because no-one had mentioned the 4Radio interview and I felt I had to let people know, even though I didn't know any of you.
Anyway, we are being spoiled with Julian's voice at the moment, but I want to see him on our screens!
