I'm from Newcastle and I have been down to London 3 times for the day. It's pretty tiring, but saves the expense of stopping over. I have so far managed to get the price down to £75 inc tube ticket. You can leave the Central about 9am and return 11pm ish if you go to the matinee. You must get a lift...
